Position: Software Engineer – Networking Datapath (Multicast Technologies) (DSH610FT RM 4186)

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
• 6-10 years of Software development experience
• Strong expertise in software architecture, design and integration across complex systems.
• Hands-on experience with software development methodologies, programming languages, and development tools.

Networking and Datapath expertise
• Broadcom Network ASICs/Silicon (XGS, DNX, Trident, Jericho)
• Datapath / Dataplane Design & Development
• Packet Forwarding Pipelines
• Multicast Technologies:
• IGMP/MLD Snooping
• PIM (Protocol Independent Multicast)
• NG MVPN (Rosen Model)
• EVPN
• Strong expertise in chip-level programming, multicast optimization, and forwarding logic
