Job Description & Role Requirements :
• 3-8 years’ experience in Application Support and Maintenance
• Past experience with Application Maintenance & Support projects
• Past experience with Tier 1/Tier 2 IT companies will be an added advantage
• Experience of working in global teams spread across geographies
• Prior experience of working on any of the ticketing tools like Remedy, Service Now would be a plus
• ITIL® Foundation certification a plus.
• Adhere to the process and standards set within the department.
• Ensure quality in all deliverables.
• Perform functional release deployments & configuration changes as per Business requirements.
• SIT/UAT Testing post release deployments.
• Work on compliances & Risk Management for assigned applications.
• To adhere to the coding, documentation and source control standards set within the department.
• To ensure quality in all deliverables.
• Work with different teams to facilitate the deployments.
• Work with limited supervision
Technical Skills :
• Working Knowledge of Java, XML & API concepts.
• Working Knowledge of Windows & Linux/ Unix Operating systems.
• Working Knowledge of Middleware/Apache Tomcat.
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server & Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
• Understanding of Web and Windows series architecture.
• Demonstrable experience or understanding of the development/support of Workflow and Document Management applications.
General Skills :
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi task and liaise with multiple stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build professional relationships
• Ability to work in team across multiple projects and multiple geographies
• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities
• Adaptability to change
• Knowledge of processes & best practices within the team & industry
Prior Experience : 3-8yrs years of application support and maintenance experience primarily for Java based application, Insurance domain experience is preferred
