As we prepare to reach the next milestone of $25 million in revenue, we are seeking experienced product leaders who have successfully led technology/product teams from Series B to Series D/E or unicorn stage, and understand the importance of upgrading a high-speed rocket with a new engine.
Our company follows a Spotify-style agile product structure, with multiple product tribes and squads and currently has a strong product team of 200+ members. and plan to expand to a team of 300+ over the next 18 months. About Software Engineer - Full stack role
The core expectation from you would be - to individually develop code towards software features / functionality enhancements / quality issues under our products as laid out as per our product delivery roadmap. Your output should conform to high standards of Quality, Reliability, Technical Integrity and Scalability, set for our software products.
At the same time, you would also own the responsibility to deliver work on-time by adhering to our company’s agile process for software development and delivery.
As a software engineer, you would be expected to work with limited oversight from a Software Architect / Lead Engineer. Further, you would act as a mentor for 1-2 Associate-level Software Engineers.
Responsibilities :
• Understanding the end-user outcomes behind the software requirements given to you for implementation
• Developing and implementing responsive user interfaces using ReactJS and using advanced concepts such as Hooks, React Components lifecycle (class-based components, state management, etc)
• Ability to achieve pixel-perfect output based on the visual designs
• Implementing the necessary user interactions, on top of visual designs provided, to guarantee end-user outcomes meeting the acceptance criteria
• Developing REST APIs using C#.NET and implementing business logic involving database operations and file IO
• Ability to write code that is readable, performant and bug-free
• Being able to understand others’ code, to be able to debug / troubleshoot it for fixing issues (or) optimize / enhance it further
• Working collaboratively with other stakeholders on the team viz. Scrum masters, developers, testers, UI/UX designers and product managers
• Possessing the ability to gauge the impact radius of your work - on existing functionality and associated features on the product
• Perform code reviews of work submitted by other developers
The Ideal Candidate
• Minimum 2 years experience working as a UI Web developer / Front End developer
• Minimum 1 year of experience with ReactJS framework
• Minimum 1 year of experience with a language like C#, Java
• Hands-on experience with UI-side state management frameworks such as Redux / Flux
• Good knowledge in JavaScript, HTML and CSS ( CSS selectors, Media Query and FlexBox, Responsive UI )
• Ability to code in an Object-oriented programming language like C#
• Good understanding of REST-based APIs
• Ability to write Automation Tests for API Testing, Unit Testing, etc
