Software Engineer - Frontend

Contract Position: Front-End Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front-End Engineer to join our team in Chicago. As a key member of our e-commerce development team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining responsive, high-performance front-end applications.

Design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end technologies.

Collaborate with our design team to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX design principles.

Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow between front-end and back-end systems.

Maintain and improve existing front-end applications to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in front-end development, with a focus on e-commerce or similar web applications.

Strong proficiency in Vue, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like React.

Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating them into front-end applications.

Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative, cross-functional team.
