Job Description
We are seeking a talented Front-End Engineer to join our Technology & Innovation team ideal candidate will contribute to building and maintaining responsive web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks, with a focus on Angular
JS and React
JS. This role is perfect for someone with foundational experience who is eager to grow their skills in a collaborative environment while delivering high-quality user interfaces for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Development & Implementation
- Build and maintain front-end components and features for web applications
- Implement responsive user interfaces based on design specifications
- Develop reusable components in Angular
JS and ReactJS
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate front-end elements with server-side logic
Technical Execution
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design
- Debug and fix issues in existing codebases
- Implement basic animations and interactive elements to enhance user experience
- Perform basic performance optimizations to improve page load times
Collaboration & Growth
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge
- Work within an agile development environment
- Document code and development processes for team reference
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development
- Learn from senior developers and gradually take on more complex tasks
Requirements
Experience & Education
- 2-3 years of professional experience in front-end development
- Experience with Angular
JS and/or ReactJS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating front-end development projects
Technical Skills
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Working knowledge of Angular
JS and React
JS frameworks
- Experience with responsive design principles
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions
- Basic knowledge of front-end build tools and package managers (npm, Webpack, Vite)
Specialized Knowledge
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS)
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and how to consume them
- Familiarity with code testing practices
- Understanding of component-based architecture
- Basic knowledge of state management (Redux, NgRx, Tan Stack)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Type Script
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles
- Knowledge of accessibility standards
- Experience with Material UI, Chakra UI and Tailwind CSS
- Understanding of basic CI/CD concepts
- Prior experience in an agile development environment
