You will design, code, and debug components within the Data Services group.
Responsibilities
• Create functional specifications and design documentation in collaboration with architects.
• Implement new features for the CASL File System, protocols, and performance.
• Debug complex issues within multi-threaded and clustered environments.
• Collaborate with QA, Customer Support, and Platform teams to resolve release issues.
• Provide technical guidance to management and participate in customer communications.
Required Skills
• 5 to 10 years of experience in system programming using C/C++ for enterprise-class software.
• Strong proficiency in data structures and algorithms.
• Expertise in multi-threaded programming.
• In-depth knowledge of OS internals.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience debugging in clustered environments.
• Proven track record of developing commercial software products.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with Distributed Systems, Clustering, or High Availability.
• Knowledge of Storage Protocols such as iSCSI, SCSI, FC, NFS, or CIFS.
• Proficiency in performance tuning and modeling using tools like Oprofile or gprof.
• Background in memory management, virtualization, deduplication, replication, or QoS
