Job Description
Job Title: Software Development Expert for Edge Analytics and Monitoring Systems
About the Role:
This is a critical position that involves maintaining and improving existing systems for Edge Analytics, Edge API Monitoring, and Internal Monitoring stack. The successful candidate will have experience with data structures, algorithms, and Git, as well as build systems such as Bazel and Maven.
Main Responsibilities:
• Maintain existing systems, including fixing vulnerabilities, addressing customer issues, ensuring build health, handling compliance issues, and performing necessary upgrades
• Improve build health, test quality, and simplify systems for Edge Analytics, Edge API Monitoring, and Internal Monitoring stack
• Perform migrations to better systems for Edge Analytics, Edge API Monitoring, and Internal Monitoring stack
• Develop and execute a plan to deprecate Nucleus
• Thorough testing and quality assurance of changes
• Documentation of changes for internal consumption and knowledge transfer
• Ongoing maintenance and support related to these activities
Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
• Experience with build systems such as Bazel and Maven
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Golang
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
