We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our Technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a web software that meet our clients’ needs. The ideal candidate should have experience in Python, React, web development, AWS, and PostgreSQL.
This job is not a fully remote position. We value collaboration and communication among our team members, so we expect the developer to work in our office in Draper, Utah a minimum of 3 days a week. Requirements:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and develop software solutions that meet business requirements
Design, develop, and implement software solutions using Python, React, and other web development tools
Write high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code
Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality
Develop and maintain applications on AWS platform
Resolve issues and/or identify innovative solutions to complex and critically sensitive issues affecting Scalar’s clients
Manage and maintain database systems using PostgreSQL
Troubleshoot and debug software issues
Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
At least 2-3 years of professional experience in software development
Strong proficiency in Python and React
