The Portfolio Management Technology team is looking for a talented technologist to develop software and solutions for our cloud-based risk management platform, Advanced Collateral Management System (ACMS). The team is in the process of building ultra-low latency, high volume, and reliable next generation cloud-based platform. When it is completed, the applications should support processing several billions of inquiry transactions during market hours. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly visible team that delivers innovative business solutions leveraging emerging technologies at Schwab. You will be working with a team of talented technologists and SMEs who bring a lot of energy, focus and fresh ideas that support our mission to provide value by seeing the world “Through Clients' Eyes”.

• Designing, developing, and deploying software
• Conducting thorough code and test reviews
• Analyzing user needs and making informed decisions based on those needs

To ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 1+ years of experience in a software development role
• 1+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum development and CI/CD practices
• 1+ years of coding experience in C# (.NET, .NET Core)
• Familiarity with IBM MQ, Kafka, Aerospike (NoSQL) database, CI/CD, Splunk (logging), PCF (Cloud), and Agile Practices
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• The ability to communicate your ideas in a clear and concise manner
• The ability work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Schwab Technology ecosystem
