Social Media Strategist
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across multiple platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.)
Create original, on-brand content including photos, videos, reels, stories, and content writing
Plan and maintain content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns, product launches, and seasonal trends
Monitor performance metrics and optimize content based on analytics and audience insights
Engage with followers through comments, messages, and interactive features to build community
Stay current on platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging social media trends
Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging
Identify and coordinate influencer partnerships and user-generated content opportunities
Participate in photoshoots and events to capture behind-the-scenes content
Manage social media budgets for paid promotion and sponsored content
Qualifications:
2+ years of social media management experience in the fashion/cosmetics industry.
Proven success in growing brand engagement, followers, and community for consumer brands.
Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and on-brand content creation across multiple social media platforms.
Excellent content writing skills with the ability to adapt NANAKIs brand voice across channels.
Proficient with social media analytics tools and data-driven content optimization.
Proven experience in managing photo, video, content writing production and strategy.
Deep knowledge of fashion trends, terminology, and consumer behaviour on social media.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Experience styling fashion products visual storytelling.
Graphic design skills and familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
Understanding of hashtag strategies, and content discoverability in the fashion/beauty space.
Experience in influencer marketing and managing long-term brand collaborations.
Knowledge of paid social media advertising and campaign management.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
