Social Media Marketing Manager
Job Description
Required Skills:
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Social Media Mkt. Manager/Strategist or similar role;
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices;
• Sound knowledge of web traffic metrics and SEO tools;
• Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research;
• Good understanding of social media KPIs;
• Team player with good organizational and time-management skills;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Ability to identify the preferences of our target audience and accordingly build social media content;
• A keen eye for details;
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement and manage our social media plus marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics;
• Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them;
• Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies;
• Contributes to marketing strategy by leveraging social media to identify and acquire customers;
• Develop social media marketing plans and programs for each product, category and directing promotional support;
• Maintains online relations with customers by organizing and developing specific customer-relations programs;
• Provides short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data;
• Develops new approaches for market development, acquiring and analyzing data, and consulting with internal and external sources;
• Maintains research database by identifying and assembling marketing information;
• Provides marketing information by answering questions and requests;
• Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions;
• Completes social media marketing department operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results;
• Maintains social media marketing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees;
• Maintains social media marketing staff job results by counselling and disciplining employees; and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
