We are looking for a skilled Editor to join our dynamic team, someone who has a sharp eye for detail and a passion for storytelling. This role will be pivotal in ensuring all our contentacross digital, print, and social media platformsaligns with our brands high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Editing: Edit and proofread copy for blogs, social media posts, marketing materials, product descriptions, and internal documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality.
Quality Control: Ensure all written and visual content meets the brands style guide, tone, and voice, and is free of grammatical and typographical errors.
Creative Direction: Collaborate with writers, designers, photographers, and marketers to guide the content creation process and maintain a cohesive brand message.
Content Strategy: Work with the marketing team to plan and execute content strategies that align with our business goals, ensuring engaging, relevant, and accurate content.
Cross-Platform Adaptation: Adapt and refine content for different platforms (e.g., website, social media, newsletters) to maximize audience engagement.
Fact-Checking: Verify facts, figures, and names to ensure all content is accurate and credible.
Story Development: Assist in the ideation process, helping to generate new story ideas and angles for content creation.
SEO Optimization: Ensure content is optimized for search engines (SEO) while maintaining high editorial standards.
Project Management: Manage multiple editing tasks and deadlines, ensuring smooth and timely completion of all content projects.
Requirements:
Proven Experience: 3+ years of experience as an editor in publishing, digital media, or a similar field.
Exceptional Writing and Editing Skills: Ability to craft and refine content with a strong command of grammar, style, and storytelling.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for spotting inconsistencies and errors in writing, images, and video content.
Creative Vision: Ability to enhance storytelling by collaborating with content creators, designers, and other team members.
Time Management: Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO principles and how to incorporate them into content without affecting its integrity or flow.
Team Player: Work effectively with cross-functional teams including writers, designers, photographers, and marketing specialists.
Adaptability: The ability to pivot quickly and adapt content strategies to meet the evolving needs of the brand.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the fashion or luxury industry.
Familiarity with digital media platforms and content management systems.
Basic knowledge of graphic design or video editing is a plus.
