In this position, you will utilize your knowledge from your trades certificate or diploma. You’ll be responsible for reading blueprints, preparing quotations, supervising a small team, and instructing apprentices. Key skills include measuring, cutting, and bending pipes while ensuring all installations meet specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read blueprints to determine plumbing layouts
• Supervise and instruct apprentices in plumbing tasks
• Join pipes using various methods including soldering
• Test systems for leaks using gauges and equipment
• Estimate costs and schedule personnel for projects
Requirements:
• 3 to 5 years of plumbing experience
• Plumber Red Seal Certificate required
• Valid driver’s license for transportation
• Familiar with CADD software systems
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks
