Job Description
We are seeking a dependable Skilled Carpenter to join our growing team. Residential framing is our primary need, and experience with drywall installation and general remodeling is strongly preferred. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their craftsmanship, communicate professionally, and are committed to producing quality work on every project.
Corts Family Construction specializes in residential remodeling, additions, decks, garages, new construction finish work, and custom carpentry. Duties
Perform residential framing including walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components.
Install windows, exterior doors, house wrap, siding, soffit, fascia, and exterior trim.
Hang and finish drywall (preferred).
Complete general carpentry and residential remodeling tasks.
Read and interpret construction plans and project specifications.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and common construction equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
Work independently or collaboratively to complete projects efficiently.
Communicate professionally with homeowners, subcontractors, and team members.
Assist with other residential construction projects as needed.
Requirements
Residential framing experience required.
Drywall installation and finishing experience preferred.
General residential remodeling experience is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
Proficient with common hand tools and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to safely lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
OSHA certification or other construction-related certifications are a plus but not required.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
