Proven experience in construction blueprint reading, carpentry, or related fields within the restoration, commercial or residential industry
Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in woodworking and framing applications
Familiarity with woodworking machines and metal stud framing techniques
Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for precise installation work
Prior experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols including power tool safety standards
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform manual labor over extended periods in various weather conditions
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in executing complex projects efficiently

Responsibilities
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in residential and commercial carpentry, woodworking, plumbing, electrical, tile, and deliver top-quality craftsmanship on a variety of projects
Your ability to interpret technical drawings, operate power tools safely, and execute precise installations will be essential in transforming blueprints into reality

Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
Measure, cut, assemble, and install a wide range of wood and metal framing components using hand tools and power tools for woodworking
Perform residential carpentry tasks including door hanging, siding installation, trim carpentry, flooring installation, and fixture mounting
Operate woodworking machines safely to produce precise cuts for framing, cabinetry, and finishing work
Execute restoration industry tasks such as water damage remediation, mold remediation, plastering, stucco application, and rebar installation
Install various wood construction materials including siding, drywall (plastering), and metal studs for interior and exterior projects
Conduct heavy lifting as required for material handling and ensure adherence to power tool safety standards during all operations
Assist with remodeling projects by installing doors, windows, flooring, and other fixtures while maintaining high quality standards
Support water damage restoration efforts through caulking, stucco repairs, reinstallation of fixtures, and general handyman tasks
Maintain a clean and safe work site by following safety protocols related to power tools and construction site procedures
