Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems operations, software engineering, and reliability principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement systems focused on reliability, systems operations, and software engineering.
Demonstrate a strong dedication to customer needs, building lasting relationships, and clearly articulating complex reliability (SRE: SLA/SLO) strategies.
Design and implement systems ensuring robust observability/monitoring with associated dashboards.
Implement automation for corrective action based on deployed observability solutions.
Deliver Infrastructure as Code via a CI/CD pipeline.
Utilize strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, Ruby, Java, etc.
Work with both on-prem and cloud solutions.
Utilize experience with containerization technologies.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of distributed systems, networking, and modern software architectures.
Requirements:
3+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering with a focus on reliability, systems operations, and software engineering.
2+ years of experience implementing SRE principles and practices.
Strong understanding of SLA/SLOs and how to define and measure them.
Proven ability to design and implement monitoring and observability solutions.
Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, Ruby, Java, etc).
Experience with on-prem and cloud environments.
Experience with containerization.
Deep understanding of distributed systems, networking, and modern software architectures.
