Role Description The Site Civil Engineer is a full-time role responsible for overseeing day-to-day civil engineering activities on construction sites in Nagpur, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some tasks to be completed from home. The role includes supervising site execution, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. The Site Civil Engineer will monitor progress, prepare daily and weekly reports, assist in planning and scheduling, and support quality control of materials and workmanship. Additional responsibilities include resolving technical issues on-site, verifying measurements for billing, and collaborating with project managers, architects, and consultants to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.
Qualifications
Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills, including the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and codes.
Experience working as Civil Engineers on site, with hands-on exposure to supervision, execution, and coordination of civil works.
Planning skills for scheduling activities, resource allocation, and progress tracking across project phases.
Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related infrastructure, such as drainage systems and site grading.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
Familiarity with construction standards, safety practices, and quality control procedures.
Proficiency in basic engineering and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office) and the ability to prepare reports and documentation.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work both on-site and remotely as required.
