Siemens is seeking a motivated and results-oriented SCM Logistics Team Leader to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations and ensuring the efficient delivery of goods and materials.
About the Role:
• Lead and motivate a team of logistics professionals to achieve departmental goals.
• Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to optimize inventory management, transportation, and warehousing operations.
• Oversee day-to-day logistics activities, including order processing, shipment tracking, and exception handling.
• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, carriers, and customers.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost savings.
• Analyze logistics data and generate reports to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven track record of success in optimizing logistics operations and reducing costs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with logistics management software (e.g., WMS, TMS) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
