Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing maintenance of fleet, equipment, tools. Overseeing welding shop production and installation crews.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead a team of employees, fostering a positive work environment
Maintenance of our vehicle fleet including annual CVIP and regular servicing
Daily inspection reports
Quotations for repairs for approval by management
Equipment maintenance, including trailers, digging equipment and tools
Optimize production from the welding shop. Prioritizing jobs and ensuring they have all their supplies
Manage tool inventory and appropriate supply of augers & parts.
Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly
Requirements
Proven experience in management or a similar role
Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail
Ability to recruit, train, and develop team members effectively
Exceptional communication skills
