Job Description
On behalf of our client in Calgary, we are seeking a full-time, permanent Shop Helper / Parts Cleaner. This role is based in an industrial shop environment, supporting a Journeyman Millwright with cleaning slurry pump components and assisting with general shop duties. This is a terrific opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, with potential for a Millwright apprenticeship.
This is a full-time position working a 4-day work week, Monday to Thursday from 6:30AM – 5:30PM, with Fridays off. Ideal candidates will be reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a physically demanding and dirty environment. You’ll be working with heavy parts, so a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude are essential. To be considered, you must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the shop.
