Job Description
Overview
We are looking for summer workers to join our epic little team on a busy and thriving campsite beside Ullswater. We pride ourselves on having a great team with a good work ethic and a willingness to put on a good/passable playlist each day.
Our customers are holiday-makers and static lodge owners that come to us for everything from a pint of milk and a newspaper through to locally sourced meats and even tents and camping equipment.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their enquiries in a professional manner
Provide product information and advice, demonstrating strong merchandising techniques to enhance sales
Operate the cash register accurately, handling transactions with confidence and maintaining proper phone etiquette
Upsell products and promote special offers to maximise sales opportunities
Organise stock displays and ensure the shop floor remains tidy, well-stocked, and visually appealing
Manage time efficiently to attend to customers promptly during busy periods
Maintain organisational standards by keeping the shop clean and orderly at all times
