Shop Assistant, Fleet Management
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Follow all safety, equipment checks and precautions in performance of all duties.
Abilities to work in the shop alongside mechanics on our fleet
Attend Household Hazardous Waste collection events
Physically load and unload containerized waste from straight trucks and van trailer
Exhibit a professional demeanor, manner and appearance. Represent the Company by providing professional customer service to our clients, customers and vendors at all times.
General shop clean-up and maintenance
Maintain yard cleanliness, snow and ice removal, and sweeping
Participate in monthly safety meetings. Identify and report all workplace injuries, incidents and potential hazards immediately to your supervisor.
Participate in all work-related tasks as assigned by your supervisor at a variety of locations in a safe and effective manner.
Perform
labour tasks as required
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Valid drivers license.
Ability to manually lift up to 50lbs regularly.
Able to perform confirmed space entry tasks.
Comfortable working at heights
Must be able to pass a drug screening.
