Job Summary
Looking for a fast paced shipping role that doesn't succ? Surfside Succulents is looking for a Shift Lead for our packing team! This role will focus on leading the prepping, wrapping and shipping of live plants during your shifts.
Please only apply if you have weekend availability, as this role includes Saturday and Sunday shifts every week. You must have your own reliable vehicle.

Duties
Lead the packing and shipping for your assigned shifts, ensuring order quality and on-time shipping
Wrap live plants according to Surfside's methods to prep them for travel, and train others on our methodology
Prioritize the order queue across e-commerce and live selling platforms
Be a leader and mentor to other packing team members
Work directly with Surfside owners and be a centralized point of contact for day to day shipping operations
Requirements
Previous experience in a packaging, warehouse or shipping role is preferred but not required.
Having your own vehicle
Ability to lift 40+ lbs, general manual labor duties as required for greenhouse operation and order fulfillment
Familiarity with order picking, packing, and basic math skills is essential.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Willingness to learn new skills related to greenhouse and shipping operations.
Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require standing for long periods and lifting materials as needed.
