Shipper/Receiver
Reports To
Warehouse Manager/Supervisor
Summary
The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for loading, unloading, and moving inventory within the manufacturing warehouse and yard in a safe and efficient manner, and supplying raw materials to the production floor.

Job Duties
Inspect and verify incoming goods against packing slips, report damages or discrepancies, and label inventory
Ensure all goods are properly labeled and stored in designated warehouse locations
Accurately pick outgoing orders and pack appropriately for shipping
Create and verify shipping labels, packing lists and other necessary documentation
Ensure all shipments are properly packaged to avoid damage during transit
Operate reach truck, forklift and pallet jacks to load/unload shipments and move inventory
Control physical inventory movements of raw and finished goods within the warehouse
Maintain accurate account of finished goods inventory within warehouse storage locations
Manage build and control blanket products
Maintain accurate shipping and receiving log records
Adhere to safety standards and ensure the warehouse environment is clean and organized
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and other tools safely
Enter required information int AX ERP shipping management system (AX)
Respond to emails in a professional and timely manner
Requiements
2+ years of warehouse experience with shipping/receiving
2+ years’ experience driving various forklifts
Forklift certification an asset
Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a high-pressure environment
Previous ERP experience
Strong knowledge of MS Office
Ability to respond to emails in a professional manner
Work Conditions
Warehouse setting, Monday through Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm; occasional overtime may be required
Steel-toed boots are mandatory
