Job Description
Brandt is currently seeking a Shipper/Receiver - Shack for our Lethbridge Construction and Forestry location. This position is responsible for assisting the parts department with the general shipping and receiving of goods.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in teams to load trucks and sea containers with finished goods
Inspect crates and bundles for damage during the loading process
Assist in counting of inventory as required
Keep area clean and in order at all times
Load machines on and off trailers, large and small material handling etc.
Operate a variety of heavy equipment from excavators, wheel loaders to small forklifts
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
Must be capable of working under minimum supervision
Must be physically fit to manually handle all goods, steel and products as required
Must have good communication skills and good attendance
Must have the ability to perform work related duties outside in a safe and competent manner in adverse conditions, extreme heat/cold/ slippery conditions
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
