About the role
As a Service Advisor at CMI Hino there will be variety in your day, you will be required to greet and assist customers, both in person and over the phone. You will manage customer's needs, with the ability to accurately detail requirements to our workshop team so that the customers vehicle is repaired and delivered on time.
You may be an experienced Advisor working in the automotive / earthmoving / industrial area – or maybe you are a mechanic wanting to move off the tools and into an office-based role.
Duties and responsibilities
First point of contact that greets our customers
Organise and follow up on service bookings
Liaise with customers and service technicians
Discuss the nature, reason for and estimated costs of mechanical repairs with customers
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a similar automotive role is desirable
Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
A good mechanical aptitude – mechanic trade qualifications are desirable
Sound computer skills
Knowledge of the automotive industry
Friendly and positive personality
