Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a positive attitude.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management, ensuring timely service for all guests.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling responsibilities.
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
Assist with cleaning duties and sanitation practices to uphold a safe dining environment.
Skills
Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of the food industry.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient order processing and cashiering.
Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables while maintaining quality service.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests.
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and making change
Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction.
Hospitality-minded attitude focused on creating welcoming environments for all guests.
