Job Description
Job function: Art/Creative Design
Employment type: Full-time on Contract for 6 months
Industries: E-Learning or Equivalent
Seniority level: Mid-level
Primary Skills : Creative with the Visualization, Good communication skills
Secondary Skills : Animation, eLearning industry experience
The candidate should have very strong conceptual skills and superior hands-on design skills in graphics and interactive projects, UI design, mobile, with a constant focus on exploring and updating yourself with emerging creative trends.
Responsibilities
• Design visually compelling interfaces that allow users to understand affordances and task flows throughout.
• Collaborate with other designers to create a product design. You’ll work on interactive components and define their behavior.
• Iterate through design feedback from internal stakeholders and customers.
• You find reasonable design solutions, produce detailed visual mocks, and work with developers to build them.
• Gauge the usability of existing and new features and make constructive suggestions for change.
• You actively look for opportunities to improve the product in innovative ways.
• You can understand the technical limitations behind your design decisions and have the ability to communicate your ideas to our developers/engineers. It’s important that your designs are production feasible.
• You have a refined aesthetic sense and can both work within and expand upon the style.
Skills
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite eg. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Animate(Flash), After Effects, Premier, Adobe XD/Invision, and rapid development tools like Articulate, Captivate and others, etc
• Good leadership and communication (verbal and written) skills
• Hands-on motion design/animation experience.
• Proficiency in Visual Design and its principles (Typography, Composition, Scale, and Color Theory amongst others etc) and working knowledge of how those principles work together.
Qualification and Experience
• Design degree (BFA/MFA) or equivalent field.
• Diploma/certification in Web Designing or Multimedia.
• Experience in the eLearning industry experience or related creative discipline
