Job Description:
We are looking for a creative Video Editor to join our team in Bengaluru. This role involves overseeing the post-production process of our video content, ensuring high-quality and engaging final products that resonate with our young audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the editing of video projects, ensuring they align with our channel's vision and standards.
- This is the level of Edits we expect from you: https://www.youtube.com/@VladandNiki/videos
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand and implement project visions.
- Edit footage into polished and engaging videos, including adding graphics, effects, and animations suitable for children.
Maintain and organize video files and archives.
Stay updated with the latest trends in video production, editing software, and techniques, especially those relevant to children’s content.
Ensure all content is age-appropriate and aligns with guidelines for children’s media.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with YouTube Algorithms: The candidate must possess a deep understanding of how YouTube algorithms work.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional video editing experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing work on children’s content.
- Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Strong storytelling skills with an understanding of narrative techniques suitable for kids.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of animation and graphic design.
- Familiarity with the YouTube platform and trends in kids' content.
