About The Role:

This role is suited to the skillsets of either of the SFIA skillsets of a SINT / NTDS. You must nominate which skillset you are applying for under this position. It must be one or the other.
Key Responsibilities:
Principal Engineer and subject matter expert.
Lead and or provide senior Architecture Assurance for terrestrial communications solutions including transition into service
Assure design of network and telecommunication services align to Defence enterprise architecture, meet Defence ICT standards and comply to Defence frameworks and security policies.
Assure design of network and telecommunication services align to agreed contract deliverables and roadmaps.
Provide Engineering Management.
Lead a team of technical resources.
Provide reporting.
Manage risks and issues.
About You:
Demonstrated experience (minimum 5 years or more) and or qualifications in: network engineering and architecture
Demonstrated experience managing a technical project delivery team
Demonstrated experience assessing Defence technical artefacts for telecommunications and networks
Demonstrated knowledge of the Defence Terrestrial Communications Network
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and communications skills.
