The ideal candidate will be adept at producing accurate and concise technical documentation, demonstrate effective leadership, communicate well, and have a proven track record in creating technical content.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain product documentation for our cloud-based ERP software solution, including user manuals, technical documents, and training materials.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather information and produce high-quality content that is clear, concise, and accurate.
• Translate technical information into user-friendly language for a variety of audiences.
• Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and reflects current product functionality.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and developers to ensure that product documentation is aligned with the product roadmap.
• Lead a team of content writers and provide guidance and mentorship as needed.
Requirements
• 3-6 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the software industry.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or related field.
• Excellent writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate content.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a team of content writers.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in API documentation is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies is a plus.
