Role- SQL SERVER DBA L2

Location - Mumbai, Goregaon

Responsibilities

1 Performs regular strategic analysis of the DB infrastructure and makes recommendations on improvements and/or new systems required to meet business needs and future capacity.

2 Ability to provide 24x7 support

3 Manage the backup and restoration of systems

4 Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) preparation and testing

5 Available during P1/P2/P3 issues and guide the team ensuring timely support and usage of proper escalation matrix

Essential -8+ years of experience as a MS SQL Server DBA or similar role

Technical & Functional experience

6+ years of experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)

6+ years of experience with backups, restores and recovery models

6+ years of experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server

6+ years of experience with Windows server, including Active Directory

PL/SQL procedures development, compilation and debugging SQL Server 2016 T-SQL, Stored Procedures

SQL Server Management Studio
