Over the past three years, the role expanded in scope and responsibility, with clear progress in both technical and soft skills. A collaborative culture made it easy to share ideas, iterate quickly, and ship results. Leadership consistently provided constructive feedback, coaching, and visibility, which accelerated growth. The company also invested in well-being and development—through learning stipends, wellness initiatives, and flexible policies—which helped maintain balance and productivity. In sum, it’s been a fulfilling experience that combined supportive mentorship, learning, and meaningful impact.
Dislikes
While there are strengths in culture and collaboration, the enforced use of the Time Doctor monitoring app created a persistent sense of surveillance that undermined trust and autonomy. Frequent screenshots, activity monitoring, and idle-time rules felt intrusive and led to anxiety, context-switching, and reduced deep-work focus. The app’s occasional glitches and rigid settings also introduced friction into daily workflows. For teams built on accountability and outcomes, this level of micromanagement felt misaligned with an otherwise positive workplace and detracted from overall employee experience.
