Job Description
Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company
Role and responsibilities
Role Purpose:
As a Senior Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex IT solutions, ensuring that they align with business needs and requirements, and evaluating the technical feasibility of proposed solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of technology initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end technology solutions that align with business needs and objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful delivery of technology initiatives.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architectures, designs, and specifications.
Evaluate the technical feasibility of proposed solutions and provide recommendations for improvement.
Participate in the development of technology strategies and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in the IT field, and provide recommendations for their adoption where appropriate.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Act as a subject matter expert for technology solutions, providing guidance and support to business stakeholders and other team members.
Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure successful delivery of technology solutions.
Required experience and skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in Solution designing, Performance tuning.
10+ years of knowledge and experience of Microsoft BizTalk integrations, currently working with version 2020.
Should have experience in installation and configuration of BizTalk servers, CU.
Experience designing and delivering end-to-end technology solutions.
Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks.
Experience with cloud computing platforms, preferred Azure.
Strong understanding of IT security and risk management practices.
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Fluent in English is mandatory.
Expected soft skills
Strong ability and motivation to learn business processes and IT tools and technologies ; can be considered in lieu of some work experience
Strong understanding of IT security and risk management practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
