As a Senior Software Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of robust, scalable, and high-quality web applications using Laravel. You will lead a team of 6-10 developers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Your technical expertise, leadership skills, and ability to mentor will be critical to the team’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of web applications using Laravel.
• Architect scalable and maintainable solutions for complex business requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while setting coding standards for the team.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack.
Team Management:
• Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of 6-10 developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
• Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews to support team growth.
• Identify skill gaps and organize training sessions to upskill team members.
Project Management:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Plan and oversee project timelines, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and challenges to senior management.
• Implement Agile/Scrum methodologies to streamline development processes.
Innovation & Improvement:
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development.
• Propose and implement improvements to existing systems and processes.
• Drive innovation by exploring new tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
• 6+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise in PHP Laravel framework and its ecosystem.
• Proven experience in leading and managing teams of 6-10 developers.
• Solid understanding of frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Vue.js) is a plus.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Proficiency in database design and optimization (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
