We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Azure DevOps) role for Mumbai location, who will be part of our Service Delivery Team in India.
Job overview: You’ll work as Azure DevOps & AKS Engineer in Azure PaaS team supporting in development of applications in cloud environment.
What You’ll Do
• Assist the team in achieving established goals and departmental objectives.
• Contribute to roadmap development, execution, and releases.
• Work with other engineering teams to identify and implement infrastructure.
• Trouble shooting issues across environments.
• Responsible for monitoring, optimizing and performance tuning.
• Come up with Proof of Concepts as required.
• Manage team delivery and adherence to company processes.
• Escalation management and stakeholder communication.
Profile Requirements
• Candidate should process 4-6 years of experience in software development processes.
• Expertise in container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of architecture, design and implementation of microservices in container environments like Kubernetes.
• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters / Azure Kubernetes cluster/EKS/GKS/ARO
• Experience in container ecosystem build & maintain.
• Proficient in Ansible/Terraform.
• Experience with DevOps tool chains such as Octopus, Gitlab CI, Jenkins, Git.
• Experience with system monitoring tools such as Lens,Prometheus, Azure monitoring etc.
• Exposure to other Azure cloud platforms services.
• Experience in Helm.
• Experience in building CI/CD pipeline for the web application & backend services.
A winner of test-driven development models, CI/CD processes, continuous testing, agile
development methodologies using tools like Jira/Github/Jenkins/Collaborator
• Exceptional skills in debugging, performance tuning, optimization and troubleshooting of large software systems and ability to guide development teams and deliver in fast paced environments.
• Good knowledge in Linux
• Extensive use of APIs and understanding of HTTP and REST architecture.
• Strong understanding of various design and architectural patterns to build application front end
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of applications
• Good understanding of software development methodology and release processes
• Ability to clearly articulate solutions to complex problems when developing solutions with the ability to see the big picture
Good To Have Skills
• Familiarity with Relational Database and SQL
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like GitHub/TFS
• Good understanding of continues integration.
• Proven ability to work in a rapid release production environment
• CKA & CKAD certification desirable
• DevOps certification desirable
• Azure /Google/AWS based certifications desirable
