Responsibilities:

This is a Full Stack .NET Developer role. He / She will develop and maintain critical features in BlackBerry Venue console. Venue is the Cloud Web interface to access the Blackberry cybersecurity resources and features, and to manage and activate endpoints, policy, SIEM/syslog integration, API and more.

Required Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
• Front End
• 2 years of ReactJS development
• Strong experience with modern and vanilla JavaScript techniques including ReactJS, and ES6/ES7 features
• Familiarity connecting to Microservices, REST APIs, Graph QL APIs, and other database-driven web applications
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs ( Application Programming Interfaces)
• Asynchronous programming including Promises, async/await, and ES7 generators, along with state management using Redux
• Back End
• Modern web security methodologies familiarity with SQL and relational databases
• ASP.NET Web API in C#
• 2 years of C# development
• Exposure to continuous integration and deployment with tools such as gitlab
• Python scripting experience and optimize deployment pipelines for python based projects
• Support and maintain developed code
• Be a strong team player and work well within a diverse, cross-functional team

Desired Skills / Experience / Qualifications:
• Fluent with Git
• Experience with Jira
• Experience with private or public cloud technology (Azure, AWS)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes.
• Excellent verbal communication, analytical skill, and critical thinking. Be able to communicate openly and frequently with all members of the teams
• MS in Computer Science or equivalent with 5-7 years relevant experience
