Job description
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer with expertise in Golang development, possessing a strong background in insurance domain applications and hands-on experience in DevOps practices. As a Senior Software Developer at our company, your responsibilities will include developing, testing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend services using Golang. You will collaborate closely with insurance domain experts to build robust applications that cater to policy administration, claims processing, underwriting, and other insurance workflows.
Your role will also involve designing and optimizing databases to efficiently manage large datasets related to insurance policies, claims, and customer records. Implementing microservices architecture and ensuring seamless integration with third-party insurance platforms will be a crucial aspect of your day-to-day tasks. In collaboration with DevOps teams, you will automate CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployments using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or GCP.
Ensuring security best practices in API development, authentication, and data protection in compliance with insurance industry standards will be essential. Troubleshooting and optimizing system performance to ensure high availability and fault tolerance will also be a part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and share knowledge within the development team.
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 3 years of Golang development experience in building enterprise applications. A strong understanding of insurance business processes, hands-on experience with DevOps tools and methodologies, proficiency in working with relational and NoSQL databases, and knowledge of API development and event-driven architecture are required skills. Experience with cloud platforms, message queues, and security best practices in cloud-native environments is also necessary.
Experience with serverless computing, knowledge of AI/ML in insurance applications, and familiarity with monitoring tools are considered nice-to-have skills.
