Senior ServiceNow Programmer Brennan IT

The role will be within our well-established ServiceNow team which is responsible for design, development and maintenance of automated product solutions such as firewalls, network connectivity or PC Endpoint protection & Management. It also handles systems integrations across Brennan’s existing systems and platforms in all business units and rolling out of all new modules ( Predictive Intelligence , Agent Assistance, Discovery and Vendor management being the most recent)..

The role is a senior role with a responsibility to help and assist junior programmers when they are stuck and to gradually develop and mature them by completing joint designs; code reviews and direct 1:1 training and mentoring.
• Essential
• This role requires the follow Competencies and Experience;
• Tertiary qualification in computer science, software engineering, Data Science or related discipline
• Knowledge of 1 or more programming languages, with a preference for Javascript and Node.js platforms
• Five to Six years experience in ServiceNow Development.
• Understanding of technology and architecture concepts on platforms such as Office 365, Azure and vendor specific technologies & APIs such as Fortinet, Meraki or Endpoint Manager
• Strong algorithm design & problem-solving approach
• Ability to mentor and develop junior programmers via joint design and code reviews
