Job Description
We are pioneers in the field of book publishing in post-Independence India, catering to students from Pre-Primary to University levels within the country and outside of it. You may visit us at www.sultan-chand.com
Our 50-strong sales team endeavours to ensure that our books are prescribed in schools across the length and breadth of the country. To give a further push to our sales, we invite Sales Executives to be part of this energetic team and carve a niche for themselves as a salesperson.
Responsibilities and Duties
Lead sales activities in the field in order to achieve the annual sales targets and grow market share
Develop sales and marketing strategies for your region
Liaison with distributors, retailers and customer institutions to create demand for the books produced
Recover all dues from a consignee / sundry debtor of your assigned territory, within the stipulated time frame
Qualifications and Skills
1-2 years of minimum sales experience
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's
Excellent written and verbal language skills in English
Good negotiation and communication skills are a must
High motivation and willingness to learn are key
Self-motivated, independent and confident
Willingness to travel extensively
Must have own conveyance (Minimum requirement: a two-wheeler)
