Our client, a prominent player in the real estate sector in **Delhi, Delhi, IN**, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Real Estate Development Manager to join their growing team. This pivotal role will involve leading and managing all aspects of real estate development projects, from site acquisition and feasibility studies to design, construction oversight, and project closeout. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the real estate development lifecycle, strong financial acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote work balanced with essential on-site project coordination and client interactions.
Responsibilities: Identify and evaluate potential real estate development opportunities, including site selection, market analysis, and feasibility studies. Manage the entire development process from conceptualization through construction and delivery. Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines for development projects. Secure necessary zoning approvals, permits, and entitlements from local authorities. Oversee architectural and engineering design processes, ensuring alignment with project objectives and market demands. Negotiate and manage contracts with contractors, consultants, and other service providers. Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards. Manage relationships with investors, lenders, government agencies, and other key stakeholders. Conduct due diligence on potential acquisitions and development sites. Develop and implement effective marketing and leasing strategies for completed projects. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform development strategies. Prepare financial models and investment analyses for development projects. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and environmental requirements. Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Lead and mentor junior development team members. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. 8+ years of progressive experience in real estate development, project management, or a related field. Demonstrated success in managing diverse real estate development projects (commercial, residential, mixed-use). Strong understanding of real estate finance, market analysis, and investment principles. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in real estate development software and financial modeling tools. Proven ability to navigate complex zoning laws and permitting processes. Experience in stakeholder management and relationship building. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of construction processes and best practices. Willingness to travel within the Delhi NCR region as needed.
