The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in commercial real estate finance, including working with both lender and borrower-side transactions. This role requires a firm grasp of leverage transactions, preferred equity, and joint ventures. The Senior Real Estate Attorney will be critical in managing complex transactions and advising clients with expert knowledge and clear communication.Duties:Represent clients in commercial real estate transactions, including financing and acquisitions.Provide expert legal advice on real estate finance, leveraging transactions, and joint ventures.Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, loan agreements, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions.Conduct due diligence and analyze legal risks associated with real estate deals.Communicate directly with clients, providing clear and actionable legal guidance.Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to ensure comprehensive legal representation.Stay current with developments in real estate law and industry trends.Requirements:Extensive experience in commercial real estate finance, including both lender and borrower-side transactions.Experience with leverage transactions, preferred equity, and joint ventures is highly desirable.Active membership in the Florida Bar (FL Bar admission required).Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Proven ability to manage complex transactions and provide strategic legal advice.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.Certifications:Admission to the Florida Bar.Skills:Expertise in commercial real estate finance and transactions.Strong negotiation and drafting skills.Ability to analyze and mitigate legal risks.Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.Proven track record of managing and closing complex real estate deals.
