Senior QA Engineer (Manual + Automation Testing)

Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan (Work From Office)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Working Days:Monday to Friday

Shift Timings: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM IST

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and results-oriented Senior QA Engineer with 7–8 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in software quality assurance processes, automation framework development using Python , and end-to-end testing methodologies.

This role requires someone who can take ownership of quality initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of reliable, scalable, and high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

Manual Testing
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into detailed test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and End-to-End Testing.
• Execute manual testing across web applications and enterprise products.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
• Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, test planning, and test case reviews.
• Validate software releases and ensure production readiness.
• Identify edge cases and quality risks before production deployment.

### Automation Testing
• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts using **Python**.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using **PyTest** and **Selenium**.
• Debug and optimize automation scripts for stability and performance.
• Monitor automation execution, analyze failures, and improve automation coverage.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.

API & Database Testing
• Perform REST API testing using **Postman** or similar API testing tools.
• Validate API responses, request payloads, and business logic.
• Write complex SQL queries to validate backend data, migrations, and data integrity.

Collaboration & Quality Assurance
• Work closely with development, product, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
• Drive continuous improvements in QA processes, testing strategies, and automation coverage.
• Prepare test reports, quality metrics, and release documentation.

## Required Qualifications

### Must-Have
• 7–8 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.

• Strong understanding of software testing concepts and QA methodologies.
• Experience with REST API testing and SQL database validation.
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools such as **JIRA**.
• Experience working with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

### Preferred
• Exposure to AI-driven or Agentic AI testing frameworks.
• Experience with enterprise-scale software applications.
• Ability to independently lead QA initiatives and mentor junior QA engineers.
• Passion for improving software quality through automation and process optimization.
