Job Description
Role: Senior Quality Analyst
Location: Powai, Mumbai (https://goo.gl/maps/qnuQ88+vpSUbgZn88)
Kindly note that this will be a Work form Office Opportunity
Working Days: 5 days working (Monday to Friday)
Requirements:
• Feature release ownership from QA standpoint. Estimation, Reporting and Defect management.
• QA regression suite maintenance and execution.
• Promote Development and QA team’s productivity through automation suggestion and other best practices.
• Work directly with Developers, Product Managers to ensure Quality.
• Mentor junior software quality engineers.
• Ability to write test plans and test strategy documents
• Knowledge of Devices and Android app testing.
• Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control
• You will spend efforts studying and designing the new methodologies and techniques to facilitate testing.
Responsibilities:
• You will join the team of hands-on passionate QA professionals developing innovative consumer-centric testing solutions.
• Develop test strategy, test plans and test cases.
• Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through to a resolution
• Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
• Engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design and develop innovative consumer products.
• Need to have the hunger of continuously searching for better and more efficient test solutions.
• An instinct for continuous invention and innovation.
• Have the opportunity to propose improvements to our existing processes.
• Be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.
• You will need to be able to work efficiently and effectively in a fun, fast-paced dynamic team environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4 years of quality assurance engineering experience.
• Experience in manual testing
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in manual testing.
• ISTQB certification.
• Experience in coding [Java].
