Senior Python Developer
Mississauga, Ontario Canada
Fulltime/permanent
Hybrid 2 to 3 days onsite per week
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable Python-based applications.
* Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven applications.
* Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis and design through development, testing, deployment, and support.
* Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines while implementing automation, monitoring, logging, and application observability practices.
* Diagnose and resolve application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize system performance and reliability.
* Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, software engineers, architects, and other technology teams to deliver effective technical solutions.
* Write clean, maintainable, and secure code while following established coding standards, security practices, and enterprise governance requirements.
* Contribute to code reviews, automated testing, and continuous improvement of development processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Strong professional experience in Python development.
* Hands-on experience with **FastAPI, Flask**, or similar Python web frameworks.
* Strong understanding of **REST APIs, microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and SQL**.
* Experience working with **Linux, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks**.
* Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams.
* Understanding of application security, performance optimization, and software development best practices.
* Exposure to **AI/ML technologies, solutions, or integrations** is a strong plus.
Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
