Senior Project Manager

We are looking for a highly organized senior project manager to oversee the successful execution of projects and related work. He/she should be able to do this by creating planning steps, managing the budget, and identifying the required resources for the project.

He/she must have excellent organizational skills along with the ability to manage all aspects of the project simultaneously. This also includes management of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.

He/she also verifies that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and achieves the potential benefits defined in the business case.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and be accountable for project management plans to deliver project and resourcing strategies.
• Develop and maintain the overall project plan and Gantt Chart, monitoring performance against the project plan to ensure key milestones are met and preparing regular reports for the Project Steering Committee
• Schedule “end-to-end” delivery of project deliverables and manage appropriate interdependencies between projects.
• Establish risk, issues, and decision registers to assist management to understand emerging issues and mitigate potential outcomes.

Report project delivery performance
• Follow up actions from Project Steering Committee meetings and the project plan to ensure key milestones are met.
• Track project expenditure, prepare forecasts of upcoming spending, and prepare regular expenditure reports for the Project Steering Committee
• Provide long-term program visibility and work with the Change Manager to prepare communications to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with the Change Manager to ensure Training Programs are in place to support systems, processes, and practice changes.
• Provide Project inputs to the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Contract Management teams.

Experience:
• Must have min 8 years of the overall experience.
• Ability to work with others in a professional manner while achieving a common goal.
• Demonstrated ability to service customers and stakeholders.
• Experience in the development, management and implementation of performance reporting processes and improved business processes
• Demonstrated ability to assess risks and analyze issues with a view to proposing solutions to achieve cost-effective business outcomes.
• Knowledge and understanding of project management processes and methodologies.

Skills:
• Demonstrated project management skills and experience in managing and delivering complex projects.
• Strong communicator who effectively conveys information, influences, and possesses excellent business writing and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, schedule tasks and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments.
• Proven and effective change management skills including the ability to hold people to account while working in a collegiate manner.
• Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering a wide variety of applications.
• Scrum experience would be beneficial.

Salary:

Approx: INR 10 LPA-20 LPA.
