Job Title: Senior Manager – Project Handling
Location: Vasai

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Senior Manager – Project Handling to lead and coordinate end-to-end execution of projects in the sheet metal industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background with hands-on experience in CNC Laser Cutting, CNC Bending, PPC, cutting operations, quality tools, along with a solid grasp of costing, techno-commercial activities, and purchase functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple sheet metal fabrication projects from planning to delivery
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, production, quality, and purchase
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely execution
Review and interpret technical drawings and provide guidance to the production team
Oversee production processes such as CNC Laser Cutting, CNC Bending, and general fabrication
Ensure adherence to quality standards using QC tools (FMEA, 7 QC Tools, Root Cause Analysis, etc.)
Work closely with the PPC team to align project schedules and priorities
Handle cost estimation, budgeting, and techno-commercial negotiations
Liaise with vendors and manage procurement of project-related materials and components
Prepare regular project reports and updates for senior management and clients
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or a related field
5–10 years of experience in project handling in the sheet metal industry
Key Skills:
Strong technical knowledge of sheet metal processes, CNC machines (laser, bending, cutting)
Proven experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams
Familiarity with PPC and production workflows
Expertise in QC tools and quality assurance processes
Hands-on experience in costing, commercial proposals, and vendor negotiations
Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and project tracking tools
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
