Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Database Administrator to join our technical delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle database technologies, including installation and upgrades, RMAN backup and recovery, DataGuard, RAC, and OCI shapes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Providing primary database (Oracle and SQL Server) and infrastructure support
• Ensuring customer systems (hosted in cloud and on-premise) are protected and healthy
• Developing and implementing service improvement plans
The ideal candidate will have:
• A relevant 3rd level qualification or equivalent
• At least 5 years' experience of working in a senior technical database administration role
• Expert Linux knowledge
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including Oracle Observability & Management knowledge beneficial
