Artemis is presently conducting a search for a Sr.
Operations
Manager for a publicly traded, large mid-market, electronics manufacturing organization in Appleton, WI.
This role partners closely with engineering, quality, supply chain, program management, and executive leadership to drive operational excellence across a high mix electronics manufacturing operation supporting complex DoD programs.
The primary responsibilities in this role will include: leading day to day manufacturing operations across multiple production areas; driving safety, quality, delivery, labor utilization, and productivity initiatives; developing and mentoring production managers and supervisors; leading lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives; and partnering cross functionally to improve operational performance, capacity planning, and customer delivery.
The ideal applicant will have 6+ years of progressive manufacturing operations leadership experience, including experience leading managers and supervisors within an electronics or aerospace environment.
Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, production planning, labor management, and cross functional leadership is required. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
Experience with AS9100, ISO standards, and PCB or electronics manufacturing is highly preferred.
