Role Description The Senior Network Engineer for Canada Opportunities will design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructures to support internal operations and client-facing systems. This full-time, on-site role in Canada involves configuring and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices, as well as monitoring performance and resolving complex network issues. The role includes ensuring network security, high availability, and scalability, documenting network architectures and changes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business and project requirements. The Senior Network Engineer will also evaluate new technologies, participate in capacity planning, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications
• Strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Design to architect, deploy, and optimize complex network infrastructures.
• Proficiency in Network Administration and Troubleshooting to manage devices, monitor performance, and resolve incidents efficiently.
• Expertise in Network Security to implement and maintain secure configurations, policies, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar), routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs), and VPN solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), SD-WAN, and network monitoring tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
• Experience in supporting global or international projects; exposure to Canadian or North American enterprise environments is a plus.
